The Managing Member of SICS since January 1999.
He joined the South African Police in 1978 and the South West African Police in 1982 where he held several command positions. He joined the Namibian Police during 1990 with the rank of Chief Inspector and acted as Commanding Officer of the Police Training College until 1993. During 1994, he was appointed Commanding Officer of the Protected Resources Unit, responsible for investigations in all cases related to protected resources in Namibia. During 1997, he held the position of Senior Operations Officer for Khomas Region, until he left the Namibian Police during middle 1998.
He joined SICS in 1999, specializing in investigations for businesses on theft, fraud, misuse/abuse of property, and in loss adjusting/assessing for insurance companies.
During is long career he successfully completed various courses in policing, management and specialized investigations locally and internationally with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and SA Police Services. He holds a National Diploma in Police Science from the Polytechnic of Namibia, a Certificate of Proficiency – Short Term Insurance of the Insurance Institute of South Africa and certificates in motor vehicle accident investigations. He successfully completed various courses in short term insurance fields such as liability, marine, fidelity guarantee, goods in transit, fire, personal lines, defective workmanship and motor vehicle assessments.
He was an associated member of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Southern Africa (ILASA), is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigation (IAAI) and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
He is a mediator of the High Court of Namibia and appointed by the Minister of Justice of Namibia as a Commissioner of Oaths.
